Do:
- Schedule move-up appointments every 6–8 weeks. This helps prevent stress on grown-out sections and keeps your extensions securely in place.
- Section hair evenly. Create straight, horizontal rows to ensure each Feather Weft lays flat and blends naturally.
- Use pre-threaded beads correctly. Pull small, uniform strands of your natural hair through the pre-looped beads for even tension and secure fit.
- Clamp beads gently but securely. Close each bead with pliers—tight enough to hold, but gentle enough to avoid discomfort or breakage.
Don't:
- Skip the sectioning step. Uneven or messy rows can causebumps or tension, affecting comfort and appearance.
- Use too much hair per bead. Overloading the bead can strain your natural hair and reduce hold.
- Install on damp or oily hair. Always ensure your hair is completely clean and dry before application.
- Tug or pull when removing. Use a professional remover tool toopen the beads gently and avoid damage to your natural hair or the weft.
